Rugby balls are made from edam. However, in the old days a pig's bladder would be used but it wasn't very nice to nibble on at half-time
Hurrah for Milton Keynes which is 40 years old today. The innovative grid based road system means that it is now much easier to get quickly to your favourite cheesemonger for some mature cheddar, unless you get lost in which case it's a bloody nightmare.
I enjoyed Stilton soup for lunch and cheesy mash potato topped cottage pie for my tea - does that officially classify me as a registered Cheesophile? - I certainly hope so!!
